THE CREATION - Limited Edt.

I have been looking for ancient oak trees for many weeks and even months in and around Vienna but never found old or big examples of them. Finally a big forest in the northwest of Vienna revealed some of this beautiful creatures to me in Summer 2002. Since then I kept going back there on a regular basis and was able to witness different conditions throughout the seasons. On my last Visit in February 2021, finally there was fog but unfortunately many of the trees were cut down. But I managed to find some beautiful ones still and was able to take this shot, which I call “The creation”.

Pay attention to the many details on the individual branches! There is something to discover in every inch of this image!

This print comes in a limited edition of 5 pieces and is a single shot (not a panorama consisting of several images). The print area will be 100x50cm (aspect ratio of 2:1) with an unprinted border of around 5cm on top.
