PAIRING

It was the same morning that I shot my image “The General” when I spotted this composition.

I thought, that the conditions where too bright and I was done for the day (at least the morning) when I came across this pairs of beautifully shaped trees, looked through the viewfinder and was happy that I stopped by.

This image was shot with a wide angle lens (16-35mm), a lens I don’t use often in woodlands as it really incorporates a lot of different elements in a composition. For this particular image it worked out pretty well as it was possible to include all the pairs of trees in the composition while also having the more open space on the right edge of the frame with all it’s delicate details included in the composition as well.
