DROWNING TREES - Limited Edition

An image taken in early autumn 2020 in the woodlands of Leopoldsberg, a small hill towering Vienna in the north of the city. It was raining cats and dogs but thanks to the dense leaves which were still on the trees at this time of the year, I got some natural shelter. Those leaves are also the reason why everything seems greenish. Overall, the image looks like an underwater scene to me as the trees’ barks are completely wet and the fog intensifies the underwater vibe. Paying close attention to the left tree, you can even see a face in its bark which emphasises the drowning theme even more.
